The brief is usually an answer to something. I work out what.

The competitor, the framework, the pattern the room agrees on. Properly, not from memory.

Before anyone acts on it. Most wrong decisions start here.

Name the condition the answer depends on.
And the evidence that would flip it.

Write your team's strongest objection, in their words, and answer it.
A recommendation that can't survive the room isn't worth making.

Close on a choice with a consequence.

Month one
The first month is the diagnosis.
We agree the question in the first conversation. Then I go through the product, the evidence you already have, and the references the decision is resting on. By the end of the month you have the decision brief, the options comparison and a recommendation.
At that point you either have your answer and we stop, or we keep going into the design and the test plan. Nothing obliges you to continue.
The engagement
Month to month, for as long as it's useful.
I work with a small number of teams at a time, directly. No associates, no handoff. I develop the recommendation, the design direction and the test plan. Your team builds it.

The rate depends on the number of products in scope, how much of your team's time I'm in, and whether I'm advising a single decision or holding an ongoing mandate. Billed at the start of each month.

How Growth Mode worksWhen this works, and when it doesn't.
This works when you have a product with real users or a concrete concept, an accountable owner who can act on a recommendation, a team able to build it, and a decision with real money attached.
This doesn't work when you want someone to run your team, when you need production design and engineering rather than direction, or when what you actually want is the current playbook executed faster.
What happens next
After you send me a note.
I read it and reply about fit, usually within a day or two. If it looks like a fit we talk for half an hour about the product, the decision and what evidence exists. Then I tell you what I'd do in month one and what it costs. If I don't think I'm the right person, I'll say so and point you somewhere better.
